Lilac
This is the original story I got from the wirms.
Name: Lilac
Pronouns: They/Them
Species: Wirm
The Wild Wirm is a powerful and elusive creature, capable of transforming its habitat nearly overnight, disguising itself as a snake or other similar creature, and laying waste to villages at will. These beings have historically been persuaded to leave local human populations to themselves with offerings and promises to be kind to the land around.
Several centuries ago, Wirms started to be captured and selectively bred for bright colours and docility. Since those days, sightings of Wild Wirms have become extremely rare. The last recorded sighting of a Wirm seen outside of captivity was in the 19th century.
Today, Wirms are commonly sold as a pet for children, able to be controlled by a string, and made to do tricks for the purchaser’s enjoyment. Wirms, despite all of this, are able to wreak havoc if they feel that they have not been treated with the proper respect, or if they feel that they have been neglected.
The creature that you find before you is no domestic Wirm.
